Participation in  DC Peaks  requires a full commitment due to the extensive planning, permitting, staffing, and logistical resources required to produce this event. For this reason, all entry fees are non-refundable.

Runners who cancel their registration 30 days or more prior to race day will automatically receive a 50% credit through UltraSignup that can be applied toward the following year’s DC Peaks  registration.

Credits:

  • Are issued automatically once the runner cancels their registration in UltraSignup prior to the 30-day deadline

  • Are tied to the registered runner’s UltraSignup account/email address

  • Are non-transferable

  • Are valid only for the following year’s DC Peaks

  • Must be applied by the runner during registration for the next year’s event

Cancellations made within 30 days of race day are not eligible for credits, and exceptions cannot be made.

If offered in a given year, runners may transfer to a shorter race distance prior to the posted transfer deadline; however, no refunds or credits will be issued for the difference in entry fees.

Yes, we will have doctors, paramedics, nurses, and vehicles ready.
o register, runners must have completed a race of at least 50 miles between January 1, 2024, and the date of registration in 2026.

If you’ve run Speedgoat or the RUT 50K hit us up.  Those run more like 50 milers so we might make an exception.
We will have side-by-side vehicles on the course available to help take runners off the mountain in case of emergency. We will be checking runners in and out of each aid station, which will help us know where each runner is throughout the day. We will have some medical staff on the course available to assist injured runners. Runners must also download the gpx file for the route and the alt route. It’s important to do it so you know you’re on the right path.
